Do not completely cut out fat from your diet. Recent studies have shown that athletic performance and the immune systems suffer when athletes got less than 15% of their daily calories from fat. Try to get 20-25% of your calories from fat, and focus on natural, non-saturated choices such as those found in olive oil, avocados, nuts, and cold-water fish such as salmon.
