Remember...this is your journal and your entries can be whatever you want them to be.
I recommend daily entries, but let the length be short or long according to your experiences.
Weekly entries may work out very well for you. But the longer the time between entries, the more likely valuable information and opinions will be forgotten and lost.
Information you can especially keep in your health journal include:
1. Treatments you are using
2. Food you have eaten, especially if you are working hard at weight management
3. Your progress in nutrition improvement
4. Your progress in exercise
5. Your progress in taking control of your life management
6. Your opinions about the effect of the healthy resolutions you are implementing
Keep the journal in the bathroom vanity drawer and add to it at bedtime or when you are in the bathroom. A journal can be a simple tablet, or a spiral type notebook or a beautiful bound book from the stationary department.
My journaling experiences have led me to prefer using a new page for each day. This makes it easier for me to go back to a certain date for specific information. The goal of a journal is become a helpful habit which supports your other resolutions through your accountability to the journal. To be more successful, it will help early on to find an entry pattern that helps you. But, as with exercise routines, sometimes it helps extend the vitality of a journaling project to change methods just slightly from time to time. One idea may be to treat yourself to a new 'book' for each month's journal.

Studies to see if electro-magnetic fields cause cancer have failed to find any definitive proof with other appliances. But recently cell phone use have had raised concerns.
Why take chances: Use a cell phone when necessary, avoid idle chatting. Get one with a headset so you can hold the phone itself away from your head.
These and other precautions may be overkill, but until we know specifically there is no risk, these precautions can only do good.

An estimated 15 to 20 percent of American couples are infertile. The causes of infertility are about equal between men and women, although in about 20 percent of cases, infertility is attributable to a combination of both male and female factors.
If you and your partner are experiencing trouble getting pregnant, the following steps may help increase your chances of conceiving:
*Quit smoking. It can affect sperm mobility, sperm production, and smoking has been linked to altered Fallopian tube function and damaged eggs in women.
*Eat a healthful diet rich in zinc, which is important for fertility in both sexes. Zinc can be found in dried beans, garbanzos, black-eyed peas, lentils, peas, soy products, and whole grains.
*Reduce your intake of caffeine and alcohol. Both have been linked to infertility.
*Maintain a healthy body weight. In women, especially, being over- or underweight can affect ovulation.
*Avoid wearing tight-fitting underwear. This can reduce sperm production in men.
*You may also want to consider the traditional Chinese remedy ho shou wu. This herbal treatment is said to be a powerful sexual tonic when consumed regularly by men, and is believed to increase sexual energy, improve sperm production, and promote fertility in women. Consult a practitioner of Chinese medicine for dosage and preparation methods before using it.
Don't take two different gauge shot guns to a blind with you, as that is how many hunting accidents occur. In the height of the hunt, it's easy to mistake one shell for another. The most common mix-ups are between 12 and 20 gauge shells, because they are the most popular loads; and when a 28 gauge shell gets lodged out of sight in a 16 gauge gun because the 28 is so small, or when a 16 or 20 gauge shell is in a 10 gauge gun.
Body odor or underarm odor can be prevented by practicing good hygiene. For example, take a bath or shower at least once a day.
Avoid sweating excessively by keeping cool with a fan or air conditioner.
Do not leave perspiration to dry on your body for long periods. If a bath or shower is not possible, wipe yourself dry.

The enzymes that break down alcohol need this mineral to do their work. People who drink frequently are often deficient in zinc. If you want to try a supplement for hangover management, try 15 milligrams.
Eating a piece of wholegrain toast or a serving of rice before drinking may also help. These foods supply zinc and also soaks up alcohol in the stomach, allowing it to be absorbed more slowly.

Tea is one of a few food products known to contain significant levels of potent antioxidant called catechins. Scientists recently measured catechins in various black tea products including bags, instant iced tea mixes, bottled and herbal teas.
Catechins (pronounced CAT-eh-kins) belong to a loosely knit family known as flavonoids, which have been noted for their antioxidant activity.
Teas brewed from bags had the highest catechin content along with the highest caffeine content. However there was a twofold difference in catechin content among the 12 black teas tested. The highest levels were found in green tea, which has been touted for its healthy properties. The next highest levels were found in brewed regular tea with decaffeinated teas being significantly lower.
Instant tea mixes and bottled or herbal teas were found to be very low in catechins.
