Tip of the Week

An inexpensive way to keep your lips soft in all kinds of weather.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon glycerin
2 tablespoons honey

Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. To use, apply to chapped lips with your finger or a cotton ball. Use as often as necessary for chapped lips until condition improves. Store refrigerated in a tightly covered jar.

Olive oil is therapeutic in itself, glycerin and honey draw moisture to the surface of your lips. Dryness contributes to chapping, but licking your lips doesnīt put the moisture where itīs needed.
