Studies to see if electro-magnetic fields cause cancer have failed to find any definitive proof with other appliances. But recently cell phone use have had raised concerns.

Why take chances: Use a cell phone when necessary, avoid idle chatting. Get one with a headset so you can hold the phone itself away from your head.

These and other precautions may be overkill, but until we know specifically there is no risk, these precautions can only do good.
