Water is essential for a healthy life but yet many people drink less than what is optimum for their health.
Not drinking enough water can make you feel tired with a lack of energy and you may find it hard to concentrate.
As a general rule, an adult should drink between 1 1/2 and 2 quarts of water per day.
Note that the water can also come from beverages like juices, milk, and other drinks. As long as the drinks do not have any caffeine in them.
