Eat garlic to stay young and possibly prevent cancer.
Researchers have studied the effects of garlic on human cells and have found that cultures of human cells with garlic extract added lived longer and stayed healthier than the cells grown without the garlic, and that garlic inhibited the growth of cancerous cells.
These findings were reported in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology and performed in Denmark in 1994.
