Don't take two different gauge shot guns to a blind with you, as that is how many hunting accidents occur. In the height of the hunt, it's easy to mistake one shell for another. The most common mix-ups are between 12 and 20 gauge shells, because they are the most popular loads; and when a 28 gauge shell gets lodged out of sight in a 16 gauge gun because the 28 is so small, or when a 16 or 20 gauge shell is in a 10 gauge gun.
